Dear readers,
I am now back from Ghana where I spent four months teaching. I have had an amazing time and have met many wonderful people! Ghanaian's are so very hospitable and welcoming - everywhere I went I was greeted with "akwaaba" which means "welcome" in Ghanaian.
I am new to digital photography and have had a lot of fun manipulating the images to create the different effects. This drama session with class 3 I've titled "The Girl with the Red Coat." The idea was inspired from the film "Schindler's List."

Sure miss your writing and the wonderful manner that you go about the sharing of thoughts, observations, experiences and the knowledge you have gained regarding the general subject of LDD. I know it has helped me and I am sure many others.
Spring is in full bloom for many of us and while the fragrance of lilacs bring fond memories from the past, they and other indications of spring are also a sign of renewal and recommitment or perhaps for some, a time for graduation and moving on to new fresh chapters in our lives.

I have had so many personal things going on in my life since coming back from Ghana that it has been difficult to pick up and resume my blog. Hopefully this will change in the near future.
